I was getting very tired of being landlocked, so I jumped at the first good chance I had to do something about it.  I bought this boat for a decent price, doesn't look pretty, but it floats!

I now want to put a deck on her, but not sure how to go about it.  I know for sure the front seat has to come out to free up space, but how would I go about building a  deck?  I want it strong and sturdy, but not heavy.  I have big plans for this boat, just need some advice on how to start the process, figured here would be a good place to ask for any help :D

Any help or advice for it would be awesomely appreciated!!

It's a 1978 9.9 Evinrude.  This was a bonus motor, originally I was supposed to get an 8 hp with her, but instead the 9.9 was thrown in.  I could've sworn this was a brand new motor when I opened up the cowling, immaculately clean.  It runs strong as well, but I am having a few hiccups with her that I'm trying to work out.  I'm hoping the new tank I got her will cure it.
