Hi woodie, I think walleyes are more so on the feed bag in the spring and in the fall but they are consistent biters all year long if you know the spots to find them. Many say early morning or early evening or dark. I know one lake never in spring but in fall its great ...there are several pretty darn good walleye anglers on the board like Jon S Sunfish, Hawg Hunter, Fry Flyer and Vanselena...to name juts a few so hang in there you shuld get tips for sure...look forward to hearing about ur adventures
safe fishing

hello Woodie Horseshoe is right,if your in the quinte area during the summer mths hit the weeds anywhere from 4-10' and you will love the results,as stated early morn and evening is best, but ive had great catches mid day as well.
over cast is great, just before a storm is better but when i go before a storm i always take 1 cast too many and come back looking like a drown RAT LOL.LOL
taker easy......

Hey Guys, This is my favorite time to fish too ... I can relate (lol) !!! Helps to keep a clean towel in the vehicle on fishin' adventures like this (hahaha). I'm guessin' 90% of time that I fish before a storm I catch more fish than any other time out.
I hope ya get wet tomorrow!! ~dokdok

I would say that is pretty accurate, when the water flips over then the fish head back to those same grounds
