Hi all
I'm one of those darn immigrants all the way from Zimbabwe (Africa). Sons and I live sleep and eat fishing (not always the fish eaten do put some back) but still lots to learn about how you do it here. Haven't fished Simcoe yet just cut our teeth in Ox Tongue and Lake of Bays. Still to open my score with anything worth writin home about but my son opened his account with a few nice smallies a 1.5 lb and a 3lb (and dropped one at the side of the boat of about the same size) then went fishing with a friend and he got a Lake trout. Lucky little sherbet!!.
I will catch anything that swims but mainly Largemouth Bass (didn't have smallies) and Rainbows Had a few browns but didn't catch one) along with Tilapia which are in abundance back home. Will be watching your blogs for tips especially on the trout side as we were only allowed to use fly tackle back home and here you can chuck anything in that will get em to bite. So all tips gladly accepted.

Glad ya found us! There's a few flyers that are on the board that love to share adventures with ya. Be real nice to hear some of your fishin' tales too!!
Your a long way from home and I hope you love this fine country of ours. Lots of great fishing within an hour or so away from Oakville and Toronto area!

Hello Benash 02 and welcome to gofishont ..always some trick being discussed somewhere here and always something to learn ...some pretty damm good fishers too ...these younger fellers are all over it ....and as fall draws near shuld be some pretty intestersting fish tales and pictures ...get your trouting done soon as that soon closes ...great to have you hear and will wotch for pix and tales from your fishing adventures...safe fishin and enjoy
