Hey Dude,
I haven't been up that way in years ... my relatives owned a lodging property back then.

Anyway, I never heard of the place your inquiring about, I'd try contacting the Chamber of Commerce there ... they might have some recent info they could share ...

Myself and Fishchaser stay there a few years ago. We did our own icefishing tour though. We based out there and ran into Diamond Lake. The Lodge was great. Best food you'll ever have and too much. They had the cabins warm before we got there. They catered to us at every turn. What time would you like breakfest, dinner? Gave us ideas where to fish if we needed them. Money well spent.

Loon Lodge is a great place, with great hosts John and Jenny Moskwa, and yes the food is great !  Although, We've only been there in the summer, I'm sure it's great in the winter too.

BE ON THE LOOKOUT:   For anyone venturing into this area, our son Daniel, has been missing since Nov. 3, 2011, believed to be in the Temagami backcountry.  If you are going to the area, or know of anyone else who may be there, please ask them to keep their eyes and ears open.  OPP have done numerous ground, water and air searches, no signs, no movement.

Information and leads are being posted on the Temagami forum on Ottertooth.com
