Ice fishing Rods
Rovic:
Folks
I will be building up Ice fishing rods for this winters season. They will be either spinning or casting and in a variety of Lengths and powers.
I will be in discussion with Mike and a few others to determine what the general concensus is of a good whitefish rod, Laker rod and a perch rod.

Well... being that I missed most of last ice season( and a good chunk of the spring and early summer), I am looking forward to drilling my first hole.. but I also want to take advantage of this great weather so am out on the boat as much as possible ;D .
I would like to see a medium 30-32" spinning rod that has 5+ guides on it with a solid back bone to fight the bigger fish but a sensitive tip to detect the light bite of the whitefish. The guides need to be large enough so they don't freeze up for those of us that like to sit on our buckets outside.
Thanks,
Peachy
