1st time ever catching them Feisty little buggers on 4 pound test line. The bay is good spawning ground for BASS and the blues apparently love bass spawn.Maybe I saved the lives of some future lunkers LOL

Got 4 filets in the freezer just under 1/2 pound each been told the taste compares to walleye.Guess I will find out.I think their max adult size is pound and a half .Had to catch 15 in order to keep 2.Sun fish without the bright markings similar shape .Had a great time .

Hi Vic, whereabouts in the bay? I'm a couple of blocks away and I've been thinking of putting the canoe in on the east side.

Was there this noon 2 hours 11am to 1 pm caught 4 small mouth bass beside the byidge at the bottom of LIVERPOOL.Going to have to modify NOEL COWARDS song "only mad dogs and englishmen and small fish go out in the mid day sun."

Put all 4 back in the water. If you use a canoe paddle over to the point where the hydro plant is .There is a drop off there where the lake meets the channel .

My weapon of choice for the day was a BLUE FOX shallow runner chartreuse spinner and body with black markings.
