My review of the NEW Shimano 2012 Chronarch reel
« on: January 24, 2012, 04:50:35 PM »
Hi my name is CITYBASSBOY I am a 12 year old bass angler and I've written a product review for GoFishOnt. readers and members. Please feel free to comment on the reel, or to leave me feedback on the review
itself. If you enjoy it, i will do more reviews in the future. This is the review.

I recently purchased the new Shimano 2012 Chronarch reel. First off, I'd
like to say that this is a great reel that was worth every penny. This new
reel contains a new facelift and some new upgrades. This reel has an
aluminum frame and lightweight graphite sideplates. It has 7 bearings and
comes equipped with Septon PV Power Grips. The biggest difference for this
new reel is that Shimano added 3 gear ratios for both left and right-handed
models. The model I purchased is the Chronarch 201E7. It retrieves 30
inches of line per crank, the maximum drag is 11 pounds, it has 1 S A-RB
ball bearing, 5 S SUS bearings and it weighs 7.6 ounces. The gear ratio for
this model is 7.0:1 and it retrieves left. I really admire this reel for
it's look and durability. My hands are not very large but this reel fits
comfortably and snugly in my palm and casts very smoothly. This reel costs
about 210 dollars. I would really recommend this great new product to anyone
whos looking for a high-quality reel.
