The morning brought relatively calm conditions and so with the threat of T storms looming later in the day Mrs H and I decide its time to do a little fishing and boating. It was a great day and a few fish caught and lotsa lessons learned...Geez as ol as i am and i'm still learning ..
ok lesson 1 ...when u dont use ur boat for about 3 months you shuldnt assume ur battery will start ya motor when u launch so i gets it over to da side of the launch run to da truck ok a brisk walk it felt like run...lucky fer me I have the troller motor system and a set of jumpers ...so were started ...way we go yee haw here fishy. The inside meaurement of the bucket is 11.5 inches so u see perch is about 10.5,,,nice eaters

now lesson 2 ...dont let mrs H be incharge of the perch bait ...after we fish for a bit i look over and she got it nearly all eaten ...i hadda teller slo down or wont have any for fishing...geez I gotta be on it all da time my son. Part B remember the worms in the fridge or ya hear Mrs H 's lecture on bait.

lesson 3... dont underestimate ur fuel levels....this fellow did. I thought he was just sittin about then realized he was flagging for help so he got towed in ...and after about 12 yrs of boating that was a first for me ...

so thats nuff learnin fer me fer da day and i headed home just in time to beat the thundershowers in the area..
Mrs H thought the hat suited so as handsum as i r i hadda gamble i wouldnt get attacked

Got me and the Mrs. coming up in the morning. Going fishing first thing and then pop over to Jackson Point to do a little visiting. Should get a little more fishing in for the afternoon. Going to try to get the Mrs. into a laker 'cause when it comes to perch.....she kicks my ass.

I spend so much time taken them off her hooks that I just put my rod away.

I'll probably be sitting on the north side of Fox Island someplace but no guarantees. I'll motor until she starts bitchen and then drop down the anchor.
