No to Tiffen, Peachy has a slip at the marina.

Yes we focused on Fox/Willow area, stayed outside the floatilla, drifted towards them in 75-78 ft, marked a couple but nothing interested.. didnt see anyone else with activity and many boats moving around.. we went to a nice spot in the 50ft mark, steady marking, couple of hits, but none got to see the inside of the boat. After a couple hours there, we hooked up with TGOM and his buddy Jim out in the deep water, same story. We ended the afternoon at the mouth of Kempemfelt until the wind picked up and we called it a day.

Good things come, to those who bait.

Wow, what a day. Just like every winter outing great day and no fish....... Tried downrigging for lakers, nothing big enough to release the line.
Stopped and tried our luck for whities. Had one good hit on a bad boy and missed one on the spoon. Wind came up and headed for the west shorline and then got blasted just before Orillia with a complete wind change 90 degrees and severe gust. Little touch and go heading to the narrows.

Learned alot, Mike & Peachy gave us pointers o trolling for Lakers and had a good talk out in 100fow.  Can't wait to keep trying and maybe break in a rigger with a fish.

Thanks for posting up those pics Mike. It sure was great to get back out on the lake and it was a decent day.. would have been a great day if we pulled up a few more fish...lol.

Looking forward to the next outing and that will be soon. We are busy in the shop this week  but might head out after work a few times and see what the evening bite is like!
