Fishing With, Racko Singh of Aquaprohd.ca
« on: July 21, 2012, 04:38:19 PM »

In the Week of  July 2nd through to the 8th I had the opportunity to fish on the " Rajput I "

Owned by Rana Singh and Raqesh Singh,    They have a 32 sea ray.

Racko singh Is a Big supporter of the go pro camera and has a "BLUR" Fix option for underwater Aquarium Like  Picture.....
Racko asked me to come on his boat and try to catch some fish with him....  ;) .

I was  lucky enough to make the trip  July 2nd with a friend of theirs, Scott, he had been on their boat before and was looking forward to catching a meal.
The rods were his for the day, we only happened to bring in one nice rainbow trout.

It gave me a chance to learn their boat.

On thursday July 5th,  I helped  Rana and Racko,  set their boat up  to what I felt would catch them fish.

Moved their riggers  3 ft forward from the stern, and helped them setup Braid dipsey rod holders where their BigJon downriggers are now.
I Helped them setup  holders for the rigger rods, Where the big jons used to sit.
I feel this gives a better spread.

Thusday evening I met Racko and headed to Tightlines wharehouse for some extra special  secret gear ;) ...

We got to the dock and I helped them, Setup the boat in a fashion I thought would work best.
2 braids for dipsies and two down riggers,  I even brought out my 10 color Core.

I met our Guest for the night,
Staff Sargeant, Greg Macdonald, of the Toronto Police Marine Unit.

We left frenchmans  and set to Whitby marina to fuel up the boat, 628 litres later, per the two tanks and we were set to go.

We setup in 80 FOW and held down the area from 100 FOW to 60 FOW....
We had a great night,  In the three years  the father son team has owned the boat, they have not tried too much for salmon fishing, but have not had as many fish in the boat overtime as this one night.

They Are Finally hooked on Lake Ontario Salmon Fishing.

We did a few personal bests,

   Rana's Biggest Salmon ever...
  at the 22#  mark,

Picture taken, Just As A Rod Is Firing.

Sgt. Greg Macdonalds, With His First Ever Lake ontario Chinook Salmon.
   Nice Hatchery Fish There Greg.

We made a Fisher Out of this Very Fine Gentleman,
Friday night He brought his Wife out,
We told her, When The first rod fires- its hers......

Well It fired and I Passed the rod off,  She held onto that thing for nearly 45 mins, we had all rods out of the water and just as we were making the decision to turn the boat,  it snapped.

I saved the leader you should  See it ;)

Here's Kim with some nice  Eating Chinook.  (Shaker City) ...

And to top it all off,  here's me with a Hog on ;) ...
God I really need a hair cut....

I hope you all have as good of a time As what We all did That week...

It Is always fun helping People learn how to fish, In this Circumstance this could be considered as the blind leading the blind,  But We pulled it off  ;) ...
