Bass'in Around this September - incl's Cheat Sheet
« on: August 30, 2010, 01:40:26 PM »

With Fall in front of us (wow September already......guess it goes faster as you age.....that incl's you Horsie....lol) - I though about doing some serious Bass Fishing. Yep, maybe with Pic's.......
In the meantime I thought I'd share a cheat sheet with great tips on line choice - mono, fluro, braid - what line weight's and what bait compliments the choice.

Here's the Link:

http://www.bassfishin.com/downloads/BassFishinCom-Line-Guide.pdf

also, if you want an Excellent in depth report related to this sheet, written in plain English, go here:

I just printed out the cheat sheet and carry it with me when I'm out shopping for line/tackle.

Good Bass'in everyone, stay safe,

bobby

That's the place to be HH - home in the cool of the airconditioner. A big hello to Mrs H.
Plannin on heading out on Friday - I'll give the cold front 1 day (Thursday) to set in. I plan on hitting Marapoint and Thorah 1st, then off to Cookyweed Bay (Cooks Bay) on the weekend - weather permittin.
If anyone is interested, the Public Launch (Free) at the end of Walter Street in Keswick is good (bring a pair of boots) and plenty of parking across the street. There are 2 portable washrooms at the launch. If you launch there and head out into Cooks, stay to the centre of the river - touch left - till your clear due to sunken log - on your right. Other than that, and a ton of weed per square inch you are good to go. Trim those motors up folks.
Take care all, stay safe,
bobby
