Fly Fishing the Trent River
« on: January 12, 2012, 10:45:12 AM »
Well the ice is crap and the fish are in the water still :) . Went out on a first time in an almost two year break for a fly fish folly  on Monday Jan. 9, 2012. Water was extremely fast and almost to the point of dangerous. Fished for 2.5 hours and did not catch but did lay my eyes on several fish, the water was to high and swift that it was almost impossible to get the fly to present any worth to the diners below. All in all though it made for a great day on the water.
If you are in the Quinte area and you want to hook up for a fly fish or other style just drop me a line and I will certainly try to get out. If you are interested in fly fishing and you lack the gear do not let that stop you since there are many spares here.
