I've reintroduced this area. We used to have it before, but I didnt think it was getting enough traffic. I'll try again
The purpose is two fold:
1) It's are area where retailers that frequent the board can keep up abreast of any news or items they wish to share. What's just come in, status of live bait stocks, etc etc.
Oziles in Ottawa is a great example that likes to keep us informed of deals in this store.
2) Its also a place where customers can recommend a store due to a good experience. It's nice for others to know when you feel you've gotten good value, either by price or by service from a retailer. Let's promote the good experiences!
I know for a fact Penny at
Rack 'n Reel, and Keith at
Innisfile Bait & Tackle pretty much bend over backwards to give their customers great service, and I am happy to promote them and small local stores in other communities that go out of their way like they do.
WHAT THIS AREA IS NOT ABOUT: It's not for complaints or negative comments. Lord knows we've all had bad experiences, but I want to focus on the good things, not the bad. Most retailers are honest and hard working to give you what you want, but remember they have to make a buck too. If you're having an issue with a retailer, please take it up with them privately and give them a chance to work it out - they may surprise you as most are working hard to earn your business!
