We the season has begun for Team OrangePeel.
On the water around 6am using a 5 rod spread. Started with spoons, flys and meat.
First fish on the boat......the skunk is gone and they have to get bigger.
As can be seen first on a moonshine lure off the leadcore.
And the started to get bigger.......
Finally I get one.......after a couple of long distance releases.
And to end the day......the biggest for the captain.
All in all a great morning. Off the water at 9:30 after going 6 for 9. Most fish hit the SpinDr. fly combo's.
For a shake down cruise everything went good. A couple of issues but those will be sorted out before next weeks "Tightline Shootout".
That $25,000 would sure help to pay for our repairs this winter.
