Our first fish of the season
« on: January 12, 2010, 03:44:31 PM »
We went out on Simcoe , Saturday past.. out about 65ft... spent a cpl of hrs or so and caught a whitey... here is the photo..
Got home .. brought it in the house to clean it and our pompom went CRAZY for it. Uploading photos of that, and hopefully , a video of a pompom and fishtail... quite hilarious.

Where I come from.... that little brownie thing would be considered "bait".  One treble off each ear and a stinger hook off the tail.. Perfect.  "Swim you little bugger....Swim!!" ;D ;D
( I'm sitting here laughing, imagining Mrs. H's reaction.  HaHaHa!!!)

I don't think you should worry about Mrs.H reaction, you should worry about MRS. Sunfish aka "icefishingirl" .. lol... I hope you are wearing brown if we ever meet, cause I might just remember, actually I WILL REMEMBER .. how you want to 'bait' my little pompom... ..make sure you were a hat with a pompom on it,,
They have this 2ft pike minnow with 'one hell of 'stinger hooks' :o... one treble off left ear, and one treble off right ear, Swim little rainbow, swim... rotfl ;D ;D

Happy fishin ...  ;)

quite hilarious , us fisher people. lol.. thanks Mrs.H... sunfish and I take 'Allie' fishing in the summer. We almost , actually we did lose her to a small mouth bass ... she decided to go over the embankment..(cement) at J.P.Dock... she just slid right on in after the poor bass... if she was thinking.. she could have caught it in her mouth,, Next training session for next summer... saves money on fishing tackle... just buy treats and dog food.. lol lol
she did get a nice bath, and that didn't stop her... lol.. silly girl ..

Have a GREAT WEEKEND MRS.H..
