Gas:Oil Mixing Chart
« on: May 06, 2011, 05:01:52 AM »

I made this chart up years  ago and its been very handy. I have one in garage and  in the shed at  the camp.

To use it: Select the  mixing ratio along the top row, then on the left column select how  many liters of gas you have. Where the two cross is how many  milliliters of oil are to be added to the gas.

Example 1: You have an old  outboard motor that requires 24:1 and you have 20 liters of gas. If  you follow the instructions above you should get 835 milliliters of  oil.

Example 2: You have a  partially full gas can of 50:1 mix. When you top it up the pump it  says you added 13 liters. From the chart find where 50:1 and 10  liters cross, then find where 50:1 and 3 liters cross. You should get  200 and 60, so you add 260 milliliters to the 13 liters of gas.
