Well, the trip to St Johns is over and the fish were not my left, right or any where in between. We did manage to get two smallmouth bass about 3lbs each. That was a first for me, smallies through the ice. Unlike the fall the smallies were there but not the walleye.
The day was amazing for conditions but not for mr. or mrs. walleye nothing hooked or even marked on the screen. Lots of ice about 10" Major pressure crack across the top end. Slabs of ice 3-4' straight up. They really make a mess if you hit them at any speed.

I really hoping BOQ holds better results. Now preparing for Friday. I will be heading to p/u Oldphart first thing in the morning. I will have to get some info on where the rest of the members will be on Friday.
