Non resident fishing licence
« on: December 17, 2011, 10:32:01 PM »
It's been so long since I had an Ontario licence plus being a non Canadian resident now I thought I better check what the rules are now. On the MNR sight it states you need a  non resident card and a valid permit to go with. Does anyone know if I can buy what I need when I'm ready to come up there or do I need to do this in advance?
Thanks ..
ps does anyone know the prices too for a full licence

You should be able to get what you need on-line Dude ...
Here's a link: Ministry of Natural Resources

Bobby or Mike should be able to direct you to a local mnr site if you prefer.

Here are more links FDI. Looks like you  can do everything online. If I recall the last time I renewed my  card, I printed off a temporary licence and carried it with my  expired card until the new one arrived. Make sure you check the  differences between a normal licence and a conservation licence. It  may be cheaper but your limits are reduced.  Hope this helps, let us  know how you make out.
