Ice fishing derbys, tournaments or challenges
« on: January 09, 2012, 08:36:34 PM »
Hello Everyone,
I would like to know if anyone knows of or knows where I can get information on any Ice Fishing Derby's, Tournaments or Challenges that take place North of Toronto.  We live in Huntsville and are laid off for the winter so we have a lot of time to ice fish and would like to enter some contests.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

haven`t lived up there for a few years now,but when i was living in Emsdale,we used to keep in touch with Magnetawan Bait and Tackle in Magnetawan ......they would keep us informed about derbys in the area.....you might also get in touch with Lake Bernard Outfitters in Sundridge.....hope this helps ....and you will love the challenges that this board puts on as well .....the Beaverton one isn`t too far from you really .....

Hi northernfishing,

Here's a link to last years GoFish Hardwater Challenge, held on the Eastern Shore of Lake Simcoe.

Excellent Prize base and great turnout. Keep this annual event in mind. Date will be posted within the next couple weeks.
Nice to have you as a member,
