 I did  not fish,

Walked around a bit to check the ice,
and  spoke to other that were out.

Its a very public  piece of ice on a good day.

Its nice to have something  like this close to toronto.

The weather is Absolutly gorgeous today,
Sitting on the bay hoping for some RAINBOWS to eat my bait...

Heres a couple pictures of our ice so far this year....

A Strong 6 inches of Ice  On the SAFE (west) side of the Bay.

Stay away from the South-East Side of the bay,  the warm water coming in from the power plant, ALWAYS makes for open water.....

Supposed to be In the near double digits next week, I Hope the weather man is wrong and it stays below freezing.

Hello Dan,  and Dan....  ;) .....

Ill be out on the ice friday night,   Ill post as early as possible,  to this thread about the conditions out there.

If its safe ill be working to setup the fishing perimeter,

there are going to be allot of guys out there  pre-fishing,   I dont know why they would want to scare all the fish away...  :o    Hopefully we dont get florida type weather anymore this week, this will be a good event if the weather gets colder...

Was out on the bay today,   and I do not think I have seen the ice stronger, at all this season.  solid 6-7 inches of clear Strong ice......

The shore line is a little wet though...  I will be out again tomorrow night Getting things ready for saturday morning.

As of this moment in time,   This event is still a go ahead.
