clam pop up
« on: November 07, 2011, 08:57:52 PM »
well, bit the bullet yesterday and p/u the new Clam Base Camp Thermal..  Come on cold weather.
Water temps still around the 50 mark. Mother Nature has some work to do for TGOM to test out all the gear during the xmas break...

4 Wheeler in getting a custom Trailering cover to keep all the sand and salt off. Couldn`t find one that you can trailer with.
Man I have it bad, watching all the videos i can on hard water angling. Especially some of the last year Challengers.

bring on the ice

Pics coming shortly, p/u the ATV from the Canvas guy today. 200.00 cash, custom fitted with the front and rear hard storage boxes and the Ice Auger mount all on the ATV. The cover fitted for all the attachments.
The cover has groments all along the bottom and is about a inch off the ground all the way around. That should keep the crap off the bike. Really impressed.

Looking forward to seeing this cover. I transport my bike in the back of a truck, it is some what out of the road spray but a cover would be best.

Looks great TGOM. At first I thought it  was made by Lund. If you look at the 3rd photo (back view)  it looks like LUND is printed on the flap your auger mount fits  through. But its actually on your vehicle. Want kind of finish is on  the inside of the cover?

There is a grey fabric back on the material, not perfect but better than just the leatherette.

Hope you don't mind Al but I'm going to take a copy of your cover pictures and see what a locale boat cover maker will charge to make something similar.
