HERE ARE SOME PIC,S OF MY NEW BIG LITTLE SMOKER ITS MADE FROM A 9 X12 CAKE PAN WITH 9X12 COOKIE SHEET FOR THE LID DRILL SOME HOLES IN LID TO LET SMOKE COME OUT THE BASE IS MADE OF GALVANIZED STEEL WITH HOLE ON SIDE OF BASE TO SLIDE SALMON TIN FULL OF METHYL-HYDRATE USETWO FULL TINS TO SMOKE FISH THERE IS A GRATE TO LAY FISH ON YOU PUT YOUR WOOD CHIPS OR SAWDUST ON BOTTOM OF PAN AND FISH ON GRATE COVER WITH LID SMOKES FISH IN 20 MIN,S THE ONE PIC IS MY SMALL SMOKER IT ONLY DOES HALF WHITE FISH AT ONE TIME IT WAS MADE IN SWEDEN I USE HICKERY SAW DUST TO SMOKE MINE  THE BRINE IS MADE WITH APINT SEALER FULL OF WATER 2FULL TABLE SPOONS COARSE SALT AND 2TABLE SPOONS OF BROWN SUGAR ONE TABLE SPOON OF LEMON JUICE TEASPOON GARLIC 1TEASPOON ONION SALT LEAVE IN BRINE FOR 4HOURS PAT DRY WITH PAPER TOWEL LIT SIT TILL FILM FORMS THEN READY TO MAKE SURE FISH IS COVERED WITH THE BRINE ENJOY

well i can see ur going thru ice fishing withdrawl symptoms. Wow thats a fancy rig... a lot of werk and expense there ...now do u think u well be producing these units for sale? I know material costs are high but what type of price range would it be to build one myself . I never realized the engineering skills u possesses b'ye,,,wonder could you use that on ur boat too.

Hey Al,
          Tough crowd here for sure  ;D ;) . My "engineering" skills are somewhere just slightly above my ability to understand and use electronic devices so I can't comment on your Swedish marvel. What I can do is offer an opinion on the edibility of your smoked fish (I must admit to knowing a fair amount about eatin' :o :-[ ) and your smoked whitefish is absolutely delicious!!
