here are the winners:
Congratulations to all, it was a great time.. Thank you to the sponsors we gave out some great prizes and there were a lot of happy faces.
Also some of the prize winning fish... (man were those were some huge perch!!)

I was thinking the same. In my case for example, 5 perch for 15.29 grams? It can't be right. It's more like around 1.5KG which is 1500 grams (or about 3.3 lbs or around 53 ounces), or no?:-)

Yes the perch were done on a separate scale that was in grams.  We tared it with an empty basket then loaded fish. As Martycoo says its all relative . All perch were done with the same table top scale.

Yes I agree the relative ranking is correct. It is just that I also noticed that scale's display is a bit interesting showing like 15 grams or 10 grams for example. :-) Actually removing the decimal point makes more sense, like 15.29 grams on the display is actually 1529 grams:-))

I wasn't questioning the method, just the gram's word.
5.25 grams seems really lite.
Im thinking that i should have weighed in my left over minnows. ;D
