Well we certainly had Bobby in our thoughts throughout the weekend. But we still managed to get together, have a great time, and even catch some fish.
 
We had 19 People join us, which was a little on the low side. But we had new members and old, come from places like Ottawa, Milton, Missisauga, Barrie, Milton, and Acton, to be there for the event.
 
The motel was pretty good, Atwel did his best to make sure we were all looked after and comfortable. Crabby Joe's was a great place to meet, they really looked after us well and the food was great... the only downside was there was a mix up for our private room on the Saturday night, so we just had be pick a corner for the group to gather. Waitresses were top notch!
 
We were all up early Saturday morning, coffeed up and at the launch ready to go. We ended up in 3 groups, west, central and east. By 10, the central group moved in with the western group, as they were marking fish, unfortunately it was the eastern group that was on the more productive side.
 
Weather was great, nice, clear and sunny for most of the day. A few perch were caught with us, and I caught a whopping 2 ounce, 6 inch walleye. I had it back in the water before I realized I didnt get a picture of it. But it was good for a laugh at least.
 
Back at the weigh in we saw more fish, we had a total of 25 come in to be weighed - Pickerel and Perch. From there we headed back to the motel, showered up and then over to Crabby Joe's were we laughed about the fish we caught, and didnt catch, and handed out prizes.
 
All in all it was a great time, I thank everyone for attending and helping out.
