good fun with good friends

well folks it started at 6:am,all the boys that said they were coming came,after unloading we were off to the spot shhhhh can;t say where lol.

 the lads were all getting ready to fish and my best bud Master Bill iced the first eye of the day a nice 6lber and it pretty much nothing but fun all day with fish either being lost or coming up on the ice,
    scottie smoke a Hawg which i thought was between 10 and 11 lbs,Horseshoe iced one around 8lbs,Bryan and his buddy iced 6 and missed that many if i remember right,Oldfart ice 1 or 2 can;t remember.horse j ice 1 around 6lbs,Redfishier ice ?????????????? not sure,Mike S had them below him on and off most of the day but no takers i think he never put a hook on lol

 if im not mistaken there was 14 15 eyes iced and there had to be that many lost :o ;D ;D it happens so just think folks if all were caught we would have iced aprox 30 walleye,i sure the lads will confirm this figure,
   all in all a great day with some fun guys.
  i took no pics cause i still have no clue how to post them lol But im working on it lol so im sure the boys will post away when they return...

  taker easy and stay safe out there

yep it was absolutely a FANTASTIC day.. true to his word, Hawg Hunter put us right on top of lots of quality fish.. many were over the magic 24.8in, some were thrown back and we counted 15 keepers by the end of the day. A couple pics to come shortly.

The first pic cracks me up.. That's Lil 'Harse. I know there's a punch line about being a fish-finder... well you can fill in your own joke lol...
 
The second pic is Scott's first walleye of the day.. a beauty..
 
Third pick is Bryan F's buddy, Junior with a dandy 'eye.
 
It was hard to take pictures today as we were spread out a bit and I was too busy trying to figure out my hook situation  ::)

What a great day on the Bay of Quinte.  First thing I would like to say a special THANKS ! to Hawg Hunter for all his help, expertise and putting us on fish.  It was likely my best day ever on Quinte. Altho I only landed  a  single fish ( redfiser took a picture hope he 'll share ) I missed so many bites i quit counting. After sittin and disussin it with Hawg  he pointed out a few key things and i think Hawg nailed my problem. I cant wait to get back n try again.
Little Harse (pics below) cranked up the mojo and landed his very first pickeral! wtg son !! and a nice one to boot weighing in close to 6 lbs.
It was great to see many faces I havent seen in a while. I think about  10 people attended.
The day started at 245 AM and I was on the road to get Little Harse at 315 AM. Met up with Redfisher on the 401 and travelled together arriving at the launch at 630 AM...we got geared up  and out we went ...naturally we went to the wrong area ...so we fished nyways  and it wasnt  long before  the Hawg Hunter Seach machine found us and  we were soon reunited with all the gang  and I had my first and only fish of the day within seconds of arriving.  I missed a few bites and it was gettin to be noonish so Lil harse an I had spotted a marking earlier in the day and gave each other that look ...so with the bite slo  off  we went ,  thats when lil harse got is very first pickeral ..then a few misses there so then we headed back to the group where I think nearly ever one was,  at one point saying  oOH doo doo (hahaha not the real werd) i missed one ...with nigth falling on us we began to pack up n head off in the dark ...what a great outing ...see you on the road trip soon !

Will we all have our fishing buds and mine is Scottie, so this trip was all about Scottie. After yesterday iam just don't now. I said to Scottie " were going to Quintie on Sat want to go, his reply was ok what time we leaving... the man was magic --- Scottie was using two dead sticks as he loves to ues for perching. When he saw other landing fish Scottie said --Red pick me out a lure, Will I did some checking before hand and I checked out Horsee lure as this one was slipped to him early in the morning by Hawg as the lure to use here. So I pick one out -- here you go Scottie. Will with the tea-pee burning Scottie BANG he yells ( Steve i got one). Iced a 8-9 ponder Scottie is happie. Back to fishing BANG Scottie yells (Steve got another one), iced a 11 ponders. What a hawg -- Scotties all time best and I"am glad I did not loose it at the hole. :o. Will Scottie its time to hand over that lure its the only one i got with that color and I give you this one. Scottie with two nice eyes landed and all the jams-jams gone from Miss H (thank you Miss H) he handed our the lure with out a fight  ;D. Will I jig my arm off so its hard to type this morning. That out of the tea-pee (Steve I got one) #$@% Scottie landed a nice eater.

With all that said and a big thanks to Hawg and Bill from Scottie and myself as we will be back to BOQ. We enjoyed our day on the ice with friends but then again we always do weather its perching, hunting down whitties, Lakers or walleyes.

In closing yesterday was ALL ABOUT SCOTTIE.

 it was indeed fun fellows but guess what happen thois morn :o ;D ;D ;D lol lol lmfao
  i arrived at our holes at10 to 7(am of course) i sat right where Master Bill was and started fishing,all the time i sat there maybe 6 mins i was thinking about the eyes that Horseshoe lost in the hole 20' away,ok i could not stand it anymore up i get and i walked over to Horseshoes hole lol
         drop the lure in the hole and started jigging after 2-3 mins my minds on Scotties hole lol,then my minds on Bryanf hole.....
   then it happened BANG :o as soon as she hit i knew she was a Hawg i brought her to the surface and yep a fat 12lber and right out of Horseshoes hole ;D ;D  ill get my daughter to post the pic i took as soon as she gets home
   i took a pic of the holes my bucket is at Horseshoes hple and you can see lihorses hole beside that lol
    first thing i thought of is how many big fish did Horse have on...?

  thanks for letting me be involed in your fishing adventure fellows ive Never not had fun with you lads,i only wish we all lived closer so you could enjoy what i enjoy just about every day out there....

Sorry I missed out. Late start here only fished an hour before dark. Fished a few hundred yards east of the  Green Bouy off of BI in BB. Heading out in a few minutes for the Island should put me fishing around 1:30 2:00 any hints for the walker........

Well I guess everything has been covered here. I would like to first thank Hog for putting us ALL on fish (I know some couldnt hook, but thats another story) sorry mike and red. next time it will be your day. Junior and I had a great day out on BOQ and cant wait to head down again. Good times, good friends and good fishing........couldnt ask for more!!!!!! I have a few pics that I will post up later.
